2017 is fast approaching and in the last few months I have been trying to get organized (nothing new there) and focus and what’s next. With lots of opportunities and challenges ahead I have decided to clear down my WIPS and get moving on de-stashing and decluttering. I believe you have to make space in life for new things to come in so expecting lots of yummy new yarns!
Over in Ravelry in the 90% Knitting group – (link http://www.ravelry.com/groups/90-knitting) there is a Work your WIPS KAL running and I have joined in and am making good progress.
First off the needles was a Supernatural Shawl (link http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/supernatural-mkal) that was a gift for my sister Gerry who was home over Halloween – very timely. Next was a shop sample that had been languishing since April – not my usual choice but it got done and wasn’t half bad but it seems to have disappeared into the abyss.
The most recent project completed was an Allegra Jacket (pattern link – http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/allegra-jacket) which is a nice jacket and a free pattern too.
Next up hopefully will be a little curious by Amanda Woeger (pattern link – http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/a-little-curious). I really like Amanda’s designs and this is the second pattern of Amanda’s that I have used. This has been languishing because it requires some attention while knitting and it is not ideal for travelling with. We are due some very wintery conditions over the next few days so I should make good progress.
In between finishing off some big projects I have been busy in the testing pool – testing out some hat patterns that will be charity donations – more details will follow when patterns are published.
