In an effort to tidy up the number of projects on the go and also to answer a number of requests for patterns I have decided to commit to completing and posting a new pattern each week for the next two months.
In some cases it might be finally putting together the details on a project completed long ago – other times it will be brand new.
So the pattern of the week this week is the yurt hat. Named by my children as they felt it looked like a mongolian yurt. Originally made in handspun wool this is the first hat I ever sold and the scribbled notes have been languishing at the bottom of a work bag a long time.
My plan is to remake this hat in a yarn that is commercially available – more later in the week.
